Option QB has high value

GREENSBORO, N.C.- Northeast Guilford standout Kendall Bratcher was a multi-purpose threat for his high school team during his junior year. The 5-foot-8, 175-pounder was the team's quarterback in a triple option attack. With regards to moving to the next level, Bratcher knows that a position change will be in order.
"I just went to Wake Forest Saturday," he said. "Getting letters from North Carolina and just got one from Virginia."

North Carolina State also is a program that has Bratcher's attention.
Bratcher, who totaled more than 1,000 yards rushing during his junior year, enjoyed his trip to Winston-Salem.
"That was a good experience for me," he said. "It was one of my first unofficial visits so that was good. I was in the running backs group. I got to meet with the running backs coach and also the defensive backs coach."
Bratcher doesn't have a current favorite.
"There is no magic school, which ever one is going to give me a chance to get an education and give me a chance to play," he said. "I'm looking for a good coaching staff and environment, good facilities. I am looking to go into business for my major so that's important to me."
Is the position he plays in college important?
"Anywhere they can put me," he said.
Northeast Guilford head coach Tommy Pursley timed Bratcher by hand at 4.35 seconds in the 40-yard dash.
