Onyebuagu ready to knock some heads

Indiana is one of the first states in the Union to start their football games every year, and with practices already underway for almost three weeks Indianapolis Warren Central offensive lineman Jason Onyebuaguis ready to finally knock some heads.
"We have a scrimmage this week and then next week we start our season against Franklin Central," Onyebuagu, who is 6-foot-1 and 303 pounds, said. "We're going to win that one. It's the second game we're really looking forward to. We play East St. Louis. We know they have a good running back."

But Onyebuagu said Central will be ready, with him leading the charge.
"I've worked hard all summer at refining my game at center," Onyebuagu said. "It's a natural position for me, and we're now using a lot of shotgun and spread offense, so I had to work hard at snapping the ball back to the quarterback.
"But the move to center has been a good thing for me. It's the best situation, and now the colleges will get to see me where I will play on the next level at."
Onyebuagu does have several options for the next level. He has offers from Indiana, Northern Illinois, Western Michigan, Ball State and Toledo. He said the Ball State and Toledo offers were his newest.
"I like Indiana," he said. "But I'm also waiting to see what's going to happen with some of the bigger schools. The last time I heard from Purdue is that they weren't going to take a center, but if they decided to take one, then I would be it."
