Onwuasor close to decision

Patrick Onwuasor has taken all five official visits, his final one to Arizona State last weekend, and the three-star wide receiver from Inglewood, Calif., was expected to sit down with his family and coaches sometime Monday to finalize his decision.
Onwuasor, a muscular and physical 6-foot-2, 190-pound prospect, is expected to keep his college choice quiet until his announcement on National Signing Day.

"I might have a press conference on signing day and I'll pick the school from there," Onwuasor said.
The Inglewood standout said Arizona, Arizona State, Nebraska, Miami, Boise State, Southern Cal and Washington are all in the running but coach Khalid Ali said Arizona, Arizona State and Miami probably have the best chances and Nebraska is still strongly being considered.
Last weekend's visit to Arizona State went well and Onwuasor said the Sun Devils not only impressed him but they're definitely in the running coming down to his final decision.
"They showed me a little bit about the academic programs, they're really heavy on that, and their facilities are really nice," Onwuasor said. "I really like them a lot and I'm considering them.
"They want me at wide receiver. That's really important to me. That's where I feel more comfortable at and I feel l can explode more when I'm at wide receiver."
Onwuasor took his five visits to Arizona, Arizona State, Hawaii, Miami and Nebraska. Rivals.com rates the three-star prospect as the No. 59 wide receiver nationally and No. 58 in the California state rankings.
