Edwin Gelin had all of his official visits lined up and
co-favorites in early December, but the coaching carousel has forced him to
make one adjustment.
"Kentucky's coaches aren't there anymore, so I'm not sure what's going to
happen there," said Gelin, who had an official visit to Lexington scheduled
for Jan. 24 prior to Guy Morriss accepting the head coach's position at
Baylor. "I still like the school and the team. I'm interested. I just want
to see what they do with their new coach."
N.C. State and Rutgers had been co-favorites with the Wildcats, and Gelin
visited those two schools on Dec. 6 and Dec. 13, respectively.
"They went great," he said. "Both of them were about even. I wouldn't
rate either one above the other, but both were nice schools that I could see
myself fitting into."
Gelin will visit Ole Miss on Jan. 10 and Florida on Jan. 17. Colorado
State is also showing more interest, and may have a chance to get his fifth
visit, he said.

Top 100 team, Gelin (6-3, 190, 4.56) caught 22 passes for 700
yards and eight touchdowns as a senior. He also had 102 tackles and four
interceptions as a safety, where he's being projected by most of the
programs on his final list.
