One visit left for Kinlaw

Goose Creek (S.C.) Stratford running back Rodney Kinlaw has one more official visit left before it’s decision time. Does he have a leader heading into his visit to Virginia Tech?
“No sir, I don’t have a leader,” said the 5-foot-10, 177-pounder. “I really liked both Clemson and Penn State. Penn State was my visit this past weekend and it was kind of funny seeing all this stuff about my cousin there.”

Kinlaw’s cousin is former Penn State great Courtney Brown and watching him play growing up certainly helped.
“I learned a lot about the football program from watching them all the time,” he said. “But the same can be said for Clemson and Virginia Tech as well since I watched them as well. All three of them have great football programs, but I’m looking for more than that.”
Kinlaw was impressed with the academic support at both Clemson and Penn State and is looking forward to seeing Virginia Tech.
“I was up there this summer and really liked it,” he said. “They have a good school and they love to run the football so they’re right up there with the rest.”
