One visit down, another scheduled
"It was wonderful," tight end John Carlson's father said when asked about his son's official visit to Notre Dame. "What a great place."
"We got some questions answered. We'll take a few more visits, then decide."

"We have Stanford October 19. We'll visit Minnesota, but we're not sure when. And St. Cloud State."
"He'll decide between those four, probably no later than mid-November."
"He hasn't told me of any favorite."
Carlson, a 6-foot-6 and 220 pounder from Litchfield, Minn., has 22 catches and leads his team in tackles. Litchfield has won four games and lost two.
