Speaking of visits Lowe plans on seeing Tennessee this summer.
"I am going to visit Tennessee for sure. I really like coach (Greg) Adkins and coach (Philip) Fulmer. Tennessee is an attractive name in college football. It's also a good situation there with the depth chart. It's a new system, not too much different from what we run here."
Lowe has already seen Auburn, LSU, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, and Texas Tech.
"I visited Auburn this spring for their game and it was very interesting. I saw what was going on. I had a good talk to their offensive line coach and coach (Greg) Knox.
"Everything is exciting at Texas A&M. They have a new coach, a new staff. Mike Sherman has good background and he has good people around him. They looked solid in spring game and should be pretty good down the road.
"At Texas Tech I got a tour of the school. They have not offered yet buy it's a school I like. They are close by and it was good to see them.
"I went to Oklahoma the early part of spring. I watched spring practice and I enjoyed myself. It's the Big 12 man. I tell you what, they practice and play like it too. I really hit it off with their o-line coach. I talked with coach (Bob) Stoops. I really like him."
"Everything will be important in my decision. I am really looking at academics, life after football, the campus, and I want to play for a pretty good team. I would ask myself how happy would I be if we were winning or if we were losing? I have to feel comfortable with the people I am around."
Lowe is a very athletic lineman with great feet and athletic ability. He moves very well and is very powerful at the point of attack. Lowe has to be considered one of the nation's finest offensive line prospects.
"I like to think of myself as an athlete not just a lineman. I think I am quick and strong. I like to run block and pancake defenders. That's fun. I am solid in pass pro with good footwork. I try and be aggressive out there and compete on every down. I like to play like it's my last down and I would like to think it that has worked for me."
