One Official Visit Down - Two More Set

Defensive end Julian Jenkins has made one official visit thus far, Penn State the weekend of August 31st when the Nittany Lions played Miami. He also has two more trips set.
"Notre Dame, Stanford, Miami, Michigan, Penn State, that's pretty much it," Jenkins said when asked what schools he is considering. "I made an official visit to Penn State when they played Miami. I've got an official visit set to Miami October 6th. I think they play Troy State. And I have Notre Dame November 3rd when they play Tennessee."

Jenkins, from College Park (Ga.) Woodward Academy, is 6-foot-5 and 230 pounds. He has a 40-yard dash time of 4.65 seconds.
Woodward Academy is 0-2 this season, but Jenkins has made 12 tackles and forced three fumbles in those two games.
Here are some short tidbits from Jenkins on the three Big Ten region schools he is looking at:
Penn State: "It's the greatest program in the country," Jenkins said. "They can set you up academically and they have a top-notch program. And they have a great coach. I liked my visit there."
Notre Dame: "They can give you great seccurity. Notre Dame is a football powerhouse. And it's a great school."
Michigan: "It's a nice atmosphere there. They have what you would call a social education."
