The recruiting for William Moore has come to an end before it ever started.
The two-way star for Hayti gave an oral commitment to Missouri this afternoon.
“We called up and told Coach (Matt) Eberflus he’s committed to Missouri,” said Hayti coach David Gilmore. “I think he will be a great college football player. He has all the tools.”
Moore is among the prospects in the running for the state’s top player billing. He will definitely be rated among the state’s top 10 players for the 2004 season.
“Just today letters came from Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Purdue, Ole Miss, Illinois, and Arkansas,” Gilmore said.
Although Moore is a two-time all-state receiver he could play on either side of the ball.
