One more visit before James decides

Springfield, Ohio linebacker Davonte James is headed to West Virginia's camp this weekend, and will wait only a few days after he returns from Morgantown before making his college selection.
"I'm making it on August 2nd," James reported. "After the West Virginia visit I will sit down and make my decision that way."

This weekend's visit to West Virginia is a seminal moment in James' recruitment, with the Mountaineers among the favorites to land his commitment.
"They are No. 1 with Georgia Tech - both are No. 1 on my list," James said. "[The visit] is super important. I am going to work out and I'm excited because they are going to take me around campus a little bit. That's what I didn't get to see last time I was down there."
James last visited West Virginia in the spring for a practice. He also visited Georgia Tech in early June.
The 6-foot-3, 220-pound James said he was not yet ruling out Cincinnati or Purdue, two schools that have also offered, but the decision will likely come down to the Mountaineers and Yellow Jackets.
