One more trip for three-star DE

Fresno (Calif.) Clovis West three-star weakside defensive end Chris Lewis has been taking his time with the recruiting process. He started taking official visits all the way back in October and now he is set to take his final trip this weekend to Miami.
"I'm going to Miami this weekend," Lewis, who is 6-foot-2 and 237 pounds, said. "I'm not sure what to expect. I just want to see the campus, meet the players and the coaches, and just see what the area is like.

"I'm hoping to see what the difference is between the west coast and the east coast. I think ACC football is a little better than Pac-10 football. The only big time team they have is SC, but ACC has a really good football and schools with great educations."
Lewis said he expects to have a decision shortly after he returns from Coral Gables, Fla., and at this point it looks like all of the teams he visited are still in it.
"After I take my visit to Miami I'll probably come home and think about it for a couple days," he said. "I should be ready to make a decision some time next week. Oregon, Arizona State, Arizona, Fresno State and Miami are the five schools I've narrowed things down to. I don't really have a leader out of those schools."
Lewis did talk about the coaches recruiting him, but went on a little more about the Arizona Wildcats for one reason or another.
"Arizona is a great school," Lewis said. "I feel real strongly about them right now. They're one of the highest teams with me. Mike Stoops has been to my house, and I liked him a whole lot. They're one of my favorites, for sure. They'll definitely be right there when I make my final decision."
