One Left For Mattes
Plymouth (Pa.) Wyoming Valley West tight end/defensive end Brian Mattes didn't think he'd take all five of his official visits, but it looks like he will.
"I plan on taking my visit to Boston College next weekend," said the 6-foot-6, 245-pounder. "I really liked Notre Dame. it was impressive and the academics there are top notch. I also was very impressed with coach Willingham."

Mattes says his leaders right now are Penn State, Virginia Tech and Notre Dame with Virginia still in the mix. However, Boston College could jump in.
"I'm not really a city guy, but BC has great academics and good football," he said. "Jim Unis is a great kid too and I told him I'd take a visit."
Mattes hopes to make a decision after his trip to Boston.
