One last visit before decision for Cali OL

Corona (Calif.) offensive lineman Max Tuioti-Mariner was supposed to be done taking his official visits but he'll take one more this weekend. Look for a decision to come from the talented lineman early next week.
Tuioti-Mariner, 6-4, 300 pounds has already taken official visits to Oregon, Colorado, Arizona and Cal. When we talked with Panther coach John Brandom last week, he said the lineman was done taking visits and could possibly make a decision in the next week or so.

It appears a decision will be made shortly but Tuioti-Mariner will make one more visit first.
"He's going to visit Hawaii this weekend," Brandom said. "Max has liked Hawaii for a long time and his brother is there so he's looking forward to taking this visit. I think once he gets back home, he could be ready to make his decision sometime next week.
"He hasn't even told me who leads for him but did say Oregon and Cal are his two leaders so it looks like it could be one of those two unless he's blown away on his visit to Hawaii. I've seen that happen before, where a player takes one last trip and end up there but I think it will be one of the two Pac 10 schools but we'll see."
Tuioti-Mariner missed his entire senior season due to a torn ACL suffered during spring practice but he's coming along nicely in his rehab.
"Max will be fine, he'll be full recovered by next fall," Brandom said. "He's such a tough kid and hated to miss this past season. We definitely could have used him. I'm convinced he's the best lineman in the area and that includes Tyron Smith but he'll be back and should be a great college player."
