One final visit for Sexton

Laurinburg (N.C.) Scotland quarterback Cameron Sexton has visited Clemson and Florida State on official visits so far this season, and is in the process of lining up a third trip.
“I’m working with the coaches at Virginia Tech to line up a date sometime soon to take an official visit there,” explained Sexton. “I’m not sure if I will take any other official visits though. I’m still looking at North Carolina and North Carolina State, but I’ve been to both so many times, I’m not sure if I need to take an official visit there.”

With plans to graduate in December, Sexton needs to pack all of his visits in during the season in order to have some time to sit back and make a decision in the final month of the year. He plans to make his trip to Blacksburg sometime in the month of November.
How did his first two visits go?
“I enjoyed both trips, but I think the Florida State trip was a little better,” admitted Sexton. “Florida State has great coaches and great players. I also really liked the atmosphere there. They’re recruiting me the hardest right now, but I’m not naming a leader.”
Scotland under Sexton’s leadership has won four straight after a 1-2 start to the 2004 campaign. Sexton led his team to a 37-34 victory over Seventy-First last week and faces a big test in Richmond Senior this Friday evening.
Sexton has over 1,300 yards through the air this season and close to 20 touchdowns.
