One early offer for 2014 CB

Elkton (Md.) Eastern Christian Academy 2014 cornerback Brandon Watson landed his first offer this summer. Who pulled the trigger for the 6- foot-0, 185-pounder?
"The only offer I've got right now is Temple," he said. "I got it in early June."

Watson shared his thoughts on the Philly program.
"I like Temple," he said. "I know one of the cornerbacks that go there. I haven't really taken too much of a look into colleges yet, but I know Temple is a great school."
The fact the offer came in this early-surprised Watson.
"I was surprised at first," he said. "I didn't even know Temple was looking at me."
In addition to Temple, Watson is hearing from the likes of Virginia and Rutgers.
So, does he like anyone?
"I'm not leaning towards anything, no one right now," said Watson. "I'm looking around."
However, Watson noted ties to one college that could prove important.
"I am going up to the Syracuse-USC game," he said. "My older brother, Isaiah Johnson, is committed to Syracuse. He's not actually my brother, but he's close to me like a brother. He really wants me to go to Syracuse since he's going there. He's like family, so it's something I'll look at."
To date, Watson claims he has not heard from the Orangemen.
On the field, Watson is coming off a strong sophomore year that saw him post 63 tackles and three interceptions.
"I think I'm a physical corner," he said. "I like to jam a lot and I think I can play bigger receivers. I think I'm a bigger cornerback."
