Olson changes visit plans

Former BYU quarterback Ben Olson was expected to take his official visit to Cal this weekend. The signal caller has since decided to hold off visiting Berkeley although he does plan on visiting the school later in the year.
“I was just too tired this week,” Olson said. “I feel like since I’ve been home, I really haven’t had a chance to just relax. I’ve been on the go a lot so I decided to hold off on visiting but I am talking with Coach Tedford and do play to reschedule the trip. It may end up being a midweek visit but I do want to visit Cal before I make my decision.”

The other changes Olson made regarding future trips concern his visits with UCLA and Oregon.
“I was going to officially visit UCLA (Dec. 3) when they play USC but I’m not going to be able to now,” Olson said. “I have a bunch of friends coming in from out of time that weekend. We might all end up going to the UCLA game together and then I’ll make my trip to UCLA a mid-week one like Cal. I’ve also moved my trip to Oregon to (Dec. 10). Right now, my plan is to make my decision sometime in mid-December and definitely before Christmas.”
