Olive Branch group ready for Big 12 trip

Olive Branch (Miss.) wide receiver Markeith Summers along with his brother Anthony Summers and teammate Allen Walker are all heading up for the first official visit this Saturday to a Big 12 school that's been on their mind.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound three-star wide receiver Summers will leave Saturday morning to check out Nebraska along with the other two for their first official visit of the year and the beginning of the next stage of their recruiting process. Summers is ready to get things started.

"It was kind of out of the blue, but we spoke with coach John Blake, Anthony told me they were going, so we all decided to make the trip together," Markeith Summers said. "I just want to know more about them as a team. I'm looking forward to getting to know the offense and the coaches better."
Summers said that though the three would like to play together, that will not be a factor in their final decision. The only other trip after Nebraska this weekend that the group knows they will take will be to Florida.
"That one is for sure," Summers said about the Gators' trip. "Other than that, I don't know who's going to also get one. I didn't even know we were taking this one so early. I knew we would visit Nebraska but not this soon."
Summers and the other two Olive Branch players said that they could also be accompanied by their other teammate Victor Thomas but they were not sure at the time if he was going to accompany them on the visit to Lincoln.
