Olin continues to produce talent

Baytown (Texas) Lee coach Dick Olin continually churns out players colleges want. This year is no exception. With six Ganders headed to college to continue their playing careers, Olin jokingly says it is all in the coaching the kids are receiving.
"Oh yes," the veteran coach said. "It's all coaching when guys go on to college and play. I'm a whole lot better coach around town when there are some good players in the locker room."

This year six prospects are moving on to continue their playing careers after leaving the Gander program.
"We have six guys going on," Olin said. "Charles Godfrey is going to Iowa. Will Lewis is going to Iowa State. Our quarterback Brian Johnson is going to Utah and Patrick Robinson one of our linebackers is going to Air Force. Then our two receivers, Anthony Carr is going to McNeese State and Michael Reed is going to probably end up at BYU.
"BYU is here right now talking to him. He also has talked to Baylor and New Mexico, but hopefully he'll end up at BYU. I don't think he'll rush it. He has a trip set up to New Mexico for the last weekend of the month. Right now, I think it is safe to say BYU is on top of this list."
