Ole Miss offer stands out to 3-star Tennessee DB Dajeun Gibson

Playing in the same defensive backfield as four-star Class of 2019 USC signee Adonis Otey for most of his career, Class of 2020 three-star Tennessee defensive back Dajeun Gibson has seen his share of action. He's also had the chance to audition for several college programs. Now, those evaluations are starting to lead for offers for Gibson, who is becoming a name to know in the Southeast. Recently, Ole Miss joined his growing list and the Rebels already look like they are going to be a major factor in his recruitment. Rivals.com caught up with Gibson to talk about the Rebels as well as his plans for upcoming visits.

Ole Miss: "I just picked up an offer from Ole Miss and I know I'm going to get down there for a visit soon. They are very interested in me and having been showing me a lot of love. I went to camp there last summer and got to know the coaches and really see what they're like on the field. Their defensive backs coach is a real intense guy and he's really into it."

On going back with an offer: "I just want to see a little more of what it's like to go there with an offer. See how everything is and get a sense for what the campus is like and everything like that."

Kentucky: "I took a visit recently. They haven't offered me yet but I think one is coming. They want to see me during the spring and they're really close to offering but they're going to make a lot of decisions at their camp so they want me to come up there and workout. I've been talking to their defensive backs coach a lot and they just had a few guys go in the draft so you can tell they are picking the right guys and developing them"

Summer camp plans: "I think I'll be going to Tennessee, Kentucky, Louisville, Mississippi State and Ole Miss."
