Green, who now has early offers from Purdue and Bowling Green talked about landing his latest offer from the Boilermakers.
"Purdue definitely offers a great mix of both athletics and academics, which is attractive to me. I've been to a game at Purdue and I really like the atmosphere. Purdue has had great success over the years and it's Big Ten football. I've also started to build up a really good relationship with coach (Mark) Hagen, who's my recruiting coach at Purdue. I'm definitely excited to get an offer from the Boilermakers."
Green has also continued to draw new recruiting interest over the last few weeks.
"Lately besides Purdue, Kansas and Georgia Tech have started to send some hand-written mail. Ohio State, Wisconsin, Illinois, Notre Dame and Northwestern have all been sending more mail."
Green is also planning to take a few spring visits over the next few weeks.
"I'm planning to check out Purdue this Sunday. I'm also looking at Notre Dame on April 15th and Iowa on April 16th."
