Natrona Heights (Pa.) Highlands offensive tackle Jake Witucki has received an offer from a MAC school and went on the record with Rivals.com over the weekend.
The 6-foot-5, 285-pound lineman from Pennsylvania has flown in under the radar for the most part, but schools are starting to take notice.
Kent State is the only school that has verbally offered Witucki but others may be thinking about doing the same thing.
"I don't have any visits planned," Witucki said, with one eye towards the future. "I've talked to some schools about spring practice dates and I'm working on planning a few dates for spring practices at multiple places. For the most part I don't have anything planned."
Witucki said he has attended junior days at Ohio and Buffalo. He visited Kent State unofficially and received a campus tour while at the MAC school.
No schools are sticking out right now.
"I don't (have any favorites)," he said. "Right now I'm just looking at every school, deciding on what I want to do. I'm deciding what type of campus I want and all that. When I pick a favorite I'm going to be sure that's the one because this is one of the biggest decisions in my whole life."
