OL will commit to GTech

Going into his first visit official visit, Randall Cox out of Saint Augustine, Fla. was still not favoring any schools specifically. So did his visit to Georgia Tech change things?
“I’m pretty sure that I’ll be committing to Georgia Tech tomorrow or Tuesday, I’m already canceling visits with Central Florida, Maryland, North Carolina and Louisville,” said the 6-foot-3, 287-pounder. “I would rate my visit a 10. We stayed in a great hotel and I came in with all these questions and they answered all of them. I’ve had more fun there than anywhere and the only disappointment is that I have to leave.”

So what made the visit so great?
“When I think of Georgia Tech, I think of it being a real city atmosphere with Atlanta there, but once on campus I felt like I was at home. It’s just a peaceful place,” he said. “Talking to Coach Gailey was really fun and I’m excited to be under him and his assistants. The coaches told you the truth and were straight to the point.”
Cox is waiting to officially commit based on a request from his high school coach, who told him to just come home and talk about it before officially committing.
Georgia Tech recruited Cox as an offensive guard and center and they were also his first scholarship offer.
