This season the 6-foot-6, 260-pounder helped East to a 9-3 record. Flanagan went on to be named honorable mention for Chestmont.
"We had a good year this year, but we need to get better," he said. "This was my first year starting and I really got used to varsity play and knowing what to do and keeping my intensity up."
So what is Flanagan looking for out of a school?
"I'm really interested in an education, but I also want a good atmosphere too," Flanagan said. "I just have to go see if I like the school."
Flanagan expects to play offensive tackle in college, but is flexible to other positions as well.
"I'd be open to other positions on the line," he said. "I just want to play."
As for this summer, Flanagan is planning to go to Pittsburgh's camp.
