OL Wants To Visit Five

One of the top offensive linemen from the state of Virginia is looking to play in the Atlantic Coast Conference next year, and two local schools top his list.
“My favorites are Maryland and Virginia,” 6-foot-4, 280-pound guard Flordell Kissee said. “I went to the Maryland team camp, and I enjoyed it a lot. They have great coaches and they’re really on the rise. Virginia is close to home, and they have great coaches too.”

Along with a massive frame, Kissee runs the 40-yard dash in only 4.9 seconds and has exceptional quickness for a man his size. He’s got his mind made up on where he’d like to take his official visits.
“I’d like to take official visits to Virginia, Maryland, Virginia Tech, Tennessee, and Michigan. That could change, but that’s what it’s looking like right now.”
Last year at Woodbridge (Va.) Gar-Field he was named Offensive Lineman of the Year, and paved the way for a good running game. Kissee was also named to the VHSCA Group AAA second team all-state. He should have another great season with some added muscle. He currently bench-presses 325 pounds.
“I’m not sure when I’m going to make my final decision. It could be a long time from now.”
Kissee has an offer from Maryland and Ohio University.
