OL Toothman Waiting On Offers
Massive offensive lineman Chadd Toothman has yet to receive his first offer, but he’s had a ton of interest from some very big schools.
“We’ve been to Georgia twice and we’ve taken trips to NC State, Virginia Tech, South Carolina, Florida State and Duke,” said Toothman’s father. “We’re going to Maryland this weekend and Wisconsin just called and wants to see film. He’s getting a lot of interest but no offers just yet.”

The 6-foot-7, 315-pound offensive lineman from Myrtle Beach, S.C. runs a 5.15-second 40-yard dash and wants to get down to 290 pounds by the time he reaches college. He started his senior season at 375 pounds.
“He’s a big kid, but not a lot of it is fat anymore,” said his father. “He’s really worked hard to trim down and wants to keep getting leaner while improving his speed and strength.”
Toothman hasn’t been on any official visits yet and his father admits that the first offer will be the biggest one.
“Whatever school shows the faith in him to offer first – that will go a long way,” he said. “He really liked his visits to all of the schools and he’ll be a catch for any one of them.”
