St. Paul, Minn. offensive line prospect Ned Tavale (6-foot-3, 305 pounds) without question had a very productive May evaluation period.
"As far as my recruiting in May is concerned, I could really ask for more," Ned Tavale said. "I have three offers from three quality school, plus I've also received roughly 7-9 calls from different college coaches. I can't complain at all about the recruiting attention that I've received."
Tavale also has schools trying to decide what position he would be most effective at on the college level. "I've played offensive guard and defensive tackle for a long time, and I'm very comfortable with both positions. I'll play either guard or tackle, it just depends what the coaches want me to play."
Tavale is also preparing for a busy summer camp schedule. "I'm thinking about going to a one-day camp at Iowa. I know that I'm going to camp for at least a few days at the U (Minnesota), and I might also do a one-day camp at Wisconsin. I'm also going to spend a few weeks in California this summer, and I'm going to camp at USC. I have family on the West Coast and I'm trying to get my name out West, and I would love to have a few options on the West Coast."
