"Nebraska has always been a favorite of mine so I wanted to make sure I gave them a chance. It might be a little far, but I want to find out for myself."
Rivals ranks Dan as one of the top offensive lineman in the nation and he has the offers to back it up. Some of the top programs in the country have come to the Garden State to try and lure Mazan away.
Several weeks ago Mazan had a scheduled official visit to Oregon, but a minor car accident kept him form making the trip.
"After I had that little accident I just decided to cancel my visit with Oregon. I really don't think I will reschedule that one."
Dan still has three more official visits that he can set up and he has five schools that he will choose from.
"For my last three visits I'm leaning towards Ohio State, Boston College and Florida State. I also still have interest in Rutgers and Maryland."
