OL Ruckdashel talks about his first offer

Apple Valley, Minn. offensive line prospect Ryan Ruckdashel (6-foot-6, 255 pounds) has landed his first scholarship offer from Northern Illinois University, and this on the rise prospect talks about landing his first offer from the Huskies.
"I'm really happy about getting an offer from Northern Illinois," Ryan Rucksdashel said. "The coaches from NIU called and said that they were impressed with my tape and that they were offering me a scholarship."

Ruckdashel also talked about the Huskies. "I know that they have had a lot of success over the last few years, and that they were ranked in the Top 25 for a good part of last year. I really like the coaches that I've dealt with from NIU, they seem like very good guys. I'm thinking about taking an unofficial visit to NIU later this summer."
Ruckdashel's phone has also started to ring more frequently over the last week. "I've received calls from Michigan State, Wisconsin and Notre Dame as well as getting calls from a handful of Ivy League schools as well."
Ruckdashel also has his summer camp plans set. "I'm going to Iowa for a one-day camp, then I'm doing one-day camps at Iowa State and Wisconsin. I'm also going to full camps at Michigan State and Minnesota."
