OL Richardson lands two more offers

Wheaton South offensive tackle prospect Dace Richardson (6-foot-6, 300 pounds) has landed his 18th and 19th scholarship offers late last week, as both LSU and Oklahoma are the latest schools to join the Dace race.
“Both LSU and Oklahoma made in school visits late last week," Dace Richardson said. “LSU was in school on Thursday and Oklahoma was in school on Friday. Both coaches told my head coach (Ron Muhitch) that they are sending the scholarship paperwork to me this week. LSU and Oklahoma have both offered me a scholarship."

So what are Richardson's thoughts on landing an offer from the co-national champion LSU Tigers? "I'm honored to get an offer from LSU. I watched them on TV a few times last year, and they were really impressive. I might make an unofficial visit to LSU over the summer."
Oklahoma? "They have had a lot of success no question about it. I know Akim Millington (current OU lineman and former Wheaton North product) and I also know that the Oklahoma coaches have some ties to this area as well. I'm going to take a hard look into Oklahoma and I'm happy to have landed an offer from them."
Now that Richardson has 19 early offers, has he started to get a time-frame in place for making his final college choice? "I'm looking to narrow things down to say 10 schools during the summer, then hopefully before the season starts I will narrow the list of 10 schools down to 5."
Dace Richardson currently has scholarship offers from Oklahoma, LSU, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, Iowa State, Louisville, Kentucky, Northwestern, Purdue, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Michigan State, UCLA, Notre Dame, Boston College and Tennessee.
