Wheaton South junior offensive tackle prospect Dace Richardson (6-foot-6, 300 pounds) has been in high demand so far, and now Iowa State as well as Nebraska have joined in the Dace Richardson recruiting derby.
"Iowa State has sent me a written scholarship offer," Dace Richardson said. "My teammate Tony (Moeaki) and I both received offers from the Cyclones today. Also the coaches from Nebraska have been sending me hand-written letters almost daily, and in the last letter they said that they were also going to send me a written scholarship offer in the mail shortly. I'm not the kind of person to count anything until I have the offer in hand, but it looks like Nebraska will also offer me a scholarship."
Richardson added that, "I'm really excited about getting offers and interest from the Big 12 Conference. The Big 12 is one of the top conferences in the nation, so that alone is exciting for me. It definitely seems like I'm starting to get more and more mail and interest from schools away from the Midwest, and that's great."
