OL Pipho will reschedule unofficial visit

Laporte City, Iowa offensive line prospect Matt Pipho (6-foot-7, 255 pounds) had hoped to make an unofficial visit to the University of Nebraska last weekend, but a last minute call to the Cornhuskers football offices saved Pipho and his family from making a visit with no one home.

“I decided to give the football offices at Nebraska a call late last week," Matt Pipho said. “I just wanted to make sure that the coaches would be in the offices over the weekend, but I was told that they coaches wouldn't be around over the weekend. I'm definitely going to try to check out Nebraska again later this summer."

Pipho has in fact set his travel plans for an unofficial visit to Stanford.

"I'm going on vacation this week with my family in Florida, then once I get back I'm set to make an unofficial visit to Stanford on July 15 through the 18th. I'm really interested to see what Stanford has to offer up close, and I'm looking forward to making that unofficial visit."

Matt Pipho has scholarship offers from Iowa State and Stanford.
