OL Pipho talks unofficial visits

Laporte City, Iowa four star ranked offensive line prospect Matt Pipho (6-foot-7, 255 pounds) made a handful of unofficial visits in July, then Pipho headed out to Northern Wisconsin for some vacation time.
“I made unofficial visits to Stanford, Nebraska and Iowa State since we last talked," Matt Pipho said. “As soon as I got back from those unofficial visits, I headed up north to Wisconsin for a vacation. I had a blast on vacation. I was able to just hang out on the beach and I also did some water sports like tubing. Now it's time for me to get ready with my team for my senior season."

Pipho talked about his recent unofficial visits.
"My Stanford visit went pretty well. The campus overall is really cool, and I also enjoyed getting to talk with the coaches as well. They really showed me that they are serious about recruiting me, and they want me to become a part of the program. I liked the campus and the facilities quite a bit, and academically Stanford has a lot to offer no question."
"Nebraska overall was also really impressive, and from a facilities standpoint they have one of the best facilities I've seen. The coaches at Nebraska are also really good guys, and they were very straight forward and honest about my recruiting. The coaches said that they have some offers out, but that they want to see my first few early games on tape this fall."
"My visit to Iowa State was more of a refresher trip for me. I've been to Iowa State several times already, so it was good to be able to talk with the coaches. I was able to just sit down and visit with the coaches, and we talked about what's been going on with me as well as talking about my upcoming senior year. I feel really comfortable with everyone at Iowa State."
Will Pipho make his final college choice anytime soon?
"I'm really going to put the recruiting stuff on the back-burner for now. I start conditioning with my team today (Monday) and that's my focus. I'm planning to wait and see how things go early this fall, then I'll take a hard look at my options then."
