OL Pipho talks Stanford visit

La Porte (Iowa) Union three-star offensive tackle Matt Pipho (6-foot-6, 253 pounds) has completed his second official visit. Pipho was in Palo Alto, California on the campus of Stanford University and talks about his visit.

"It was rainy all weekend long at Stanford," Pipho said. "Other than the weather it was a good visit for me overall. I would rate it on a scale of 1-10 as an 8 overall"

Pipho, who has already made an official visit to Oregon (December 10th) enjoyed his latest visit to Stanford.

"The school as well as the campus and the entire academic package is what really stood out to me on my visit to Stanford. I also was able to meet with the players and the new coaching staff, and things went pretty well. My player host was Jon Cochran, who's an offensive linemen and we got along pretty well all weekend long."

Pipho is still planning to make his five official visits before making his final college choice.

"I'm still going to make my remaining official visits. I'm heading to Miami (Fla.) this coming weekend, and I'm excited about that visit. I'm also going to make my visits to both Oklahoma and Nebraska before I make my final college choice."
