OL Oshinowo impressed with Boilers

Naperville (Ill.) junior offensive tackle prospect Timi Oshinowo (6-foot-7, 280 pounds) from Neuqua Valley High School was one of several Chicagoland prospects who checked out the Purdue spring scrimmage on Sunday.
"I decided to head out to Purdue on Sunday to see it's scrimmage," Oshinowo said. "I took my ACT test on Saturday so I basically wanted to get out and enjoy the day on Sunday."

Oshinowo came away impressed with Purdue.
"I really like the spring scrimmage at Purdue. I had a chance to check out the facilities and I also got a brief tour of the campus and some of the academic buildings. Everything at Purdue was really nice, and I especially was impressed with the football facilities. I also had a chance to talk with (Mark) Hagen who's my recruiting coach at Purdue. He talked to me about the plans for the team this year and that they would love for me to attend the Purdue summer camp."
Oshinowo also liked what he saw on the field from the Boilermakers.
"The scrimmage was pretty hard hitting and intense. It seems like everyone, from the coaches and the players went all out. Players on both sides of the ball were flying around all day long. I really was impressed with the entire scrimmage."
Oshinowo will continue his spring travels this Wednesday.
"I'm going to head down to Illinois this Wednesday to check out a spring practice at Illinois. I'm also heading to Wisconsin this coming Saturday for the Wisconsin spring game."
