OL Moosman talks visits and favorites

Libertyville High School (Ill.) offensive line prospect David Moosman (6-foot-5, 270 pounds) has landed an offer from the University of Kansas this week, and Moosman talks about his latest offer as well as his spring visits to Iowa and Northwestern.
"I just got an offer from the University of Kansas," David Moosman said. "I received the paperwork in the mail today. I have a few friends who know about Kansas, and they really love the school, so I'm definitely going to check them out. Plus it's great to get an offer from the Big 12 conference as well."
Moosman also spent his spring break on the road last week. "I went to check out a practice at the University of Iowa, and it went very well. I was able to sit and talk with Robert Gallery for about 45 minutes when I was there. I can't say enough good things about him, he's truly a great person. He's just a very down to earth guy, and after I talked to him I told my girlfriend Ashley who went with me on the trip that I just talked to a guy that will be a top pick in the NFL very shortly."
"I spent a good portion of my time at Iowa talking to head coach Kirk Ferentz, coach (Reese) Morgan as well as with Chris Doyle, who's the strength and conditioning coach at Iowa. They really are good guys and I enjoyed talking with all of the coaches and the players. Facility-wise Iowa has everything you'd want, including a great outdoor practice field with Play-Turf as well as the football-only weight room."
Moosman also spent a day at Northwestern late last week. "I was able to watch a scrimmage at Northwestern, and that was fun to watch. Then I was able to sit in on a few meetings as well. I also was able to talk to head coach (Randy) Walker and the offensive line coach (James) Patton. I enjoyed talking to the coaches at Northwestern, and I was glad that I made the trip to Evanston."
So will David Moosman make any additional spring trips? "I might try to get over to Notre Dame, but it all depends on my schedule at this point, since I'm in track this spring."
Does Moosman have any early favorites at this point? "I would say that Iowa and Wisconsin are my two early favorites. Both schools have been recruiting me the longest, and I really like the facilities, coaches as well as the education available at both schools."
