OL Moosman talks Michigan camp

Libertyville, Ill. offensive line prospect David Moosman (6-foot-5, 270 pounds) was one of over 2,000 players who attended the University of Michigan camp last week, and Moosman fills us in on his impression from the camp.
“I went to the Michigan camp for two days last week," David Moosman said. “They had just an amazing amount of kids at the camp, like over 2,000 campers, and overall I felt that the camp went well."

Despite the large amount of campers at Michigan, Moosman drew plenty of attention from the Wolverine coaches.
"Offensive line coach Andy Moeller worked with me a lot at the camp, and they had well over 100 offensive line there. Despite having so many kids, I was able to get a lot of reps in even though we camped in just helmets. I would have liked to have hit at the camp, but that's how Michigan does it and it was still a very worthwhile experience."
"The Michigan coaches really tried to get me to make a verbal commitment at the camp. They told me flat out that they are looking to land 3-4 offensive linemen in this recruiting class and that they already have two commitments. I appreciated the honesty from the coaches, but I'm going to give my options some serious thought over the next few weeks. Michigan is still very much in the mix for me, no question about it, but I just want to take a little more time."
Moosman will wind up his college camps on Tuesday at Notre Dame.
"I'm heading to the Notre Dame camp on Tuesday, and then I'm pretty sure that will be it for me. My team camp starts on July 5th, and I want to focus my total attention on getting ready for my senior year."
