OL Moosman lands a Big East offer

Libertyville High School (Ill.) offensive line prospect David Moosman (6-foot-5, 270 pounds) has landed his 9th scholarship offer this spring, as Boston College offered Moosman on Friday.

"I just got an offer from Boston College," David Moosman said. "I got the paperwork in the mail on Friday."

Moosman added that, "I honestly don't know a lot about Boston College, but I do know that they have a very solid program and that they always recruit the Chicago-area pretty hard. I'm going to do some research on them, and I'm excited to get an offer from Boston College."

Moosman, who's already drawing offers and serious recruiting interest from the Midwest, has also noticed that several schools are starting to take notice of him outside of the Midwest this spring. "Yeah, the last few offers I've received have been away from the Big Ten, and that's just fine with me. I'm going to check out all of my options, and it's great to receive recruiting interest and now offers from some different schools."

David Moosman is also looking towards making a few more campus visits over the next month. "I don't have anything set just yet, but I'm looking at making visits to Michigan, Michigan State and Notre Dame over the next month. I'm hoping to check out all three school in person."
