OL Moosman has been on the road

Libertyville High School (Ill.) offensive line prospect David Moosman (6-foot-5, 270 pounds) finished off a very busy weekend, which included unofficial visits to Michigan, Michigan State and Notre Dame. Moosman also made another unofficial visit to Northwestern University on Monday night.

"The last three or four days have been very busy for me," David Moosman said. "I left last Friday, and I made unofficial visits to the University of Michigan, then we went to Michigan State and Notre Dame. Tonight (Monday) I went to a junior event at Northwestern."

"I thought Michigan was really nice overall, and that it was a great visit overall. The campus was very cool, and I was able to take a full tour of the campus and the facilities. I was really impressed with the Big House, it's just incredible and I can't imagine playing in front of a crowd that large. I also had a chance to talk at length with Coach (Lloyd) Carr, and I really like him a lot. The Michigan coaches said that I have a scholarship offer from them, and that's a real honor."

Moosman was then able to stop in East Lansing and checked out Michigan State. "I was able to see the Academic Center as well as the rest of the facilities at Michigan State, and they were impressive. I also was able to talk to a few coaches at Michigan State."

"I stopped in at Notre Dame, and we were sort of pressed for time, but I was able to see a few of the facilities and I was also able to spend some time talking to Coach (Tyrone) Willingham."

Moosman finished his unofficial tour on Monday night at Northwestern University. "I went to Northwestern on Monday night for a junior event. I was able to talk to the coaches and I also got to talk to a few of the recruits that you read about, and that was fun and I was able to meet a few guys that I didn't know before."

Also look for more college coaches to make stops to Libertyville High School over the next few weeks. "On Monday Coach Willingham from Notre Dame made an in school visit, and also the coaches from Ohio State and Illinois were in school today. My coach told me that several schools are planning to make visits over the next few weeks."

David Moosman has scholarship offers from Michigan, Iowa, Wisconsin, Arizona, Illinois, Michigan State, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Kansas and Boston College.
