Tuscarawas Valley, Ohio, offensive lineman Jake Miller has scholarship offers from a couple Big Ten schools. He is ready to schedule an official visit to one of them.
"Akron, Bowling Green, Ohio University, Indiana, and Illinois have offered," Miller said. "I don't know what order I'd put them in, but Illinois would be up there. And Akron and Bowling Green."
When asked if he is looking at any schools that have not offered a scholarship, Miller said, "West Virginia maybe. Ohio State maybe.
"I think I'm going to set up an official visit to Illinois pretty soon.
"I went to the Pitt-Notre Dame game and Ohio State's games againt Texas and San Diego State. I might go to the West Virginia-Maryland game.
"I believe I'll wait till after the season to make a commitment."
The 6-foot-6 and 330-pound Miller said all of the schools he mentioned have called during the month of September. Miller is in his third year as a varsity starter at offensive tackle.
