OL Might Head Out Of State

Jordy Lipsey’s dad is on the road quite often for business, so the thought of choosing a college far from home doesn’t faze the Altamonte Springs (Fla.) Lake Brantley center.
“Right now, I’d say my top school is Stanford because of the academic reputation,” Lipsey said. “But I want to make a visit there while the kids are school. It can be a lot different.”

“My dad is in California about five days a month, so if I were to go to Stanford, he’s talking about maybe getting a condo there.”
Miami, Florida, Northwestern and Virginia, all of whom have offered, also top Lipsey’s list, which was recently narrowed from 15 offers.
“I’d like to choose a school with the best academic and athletic situation,” said the 6-foot-4, 272-pound Lipsey.
Lipsey is considered by many to be the top center prospect in the state of Florida and he has more than 20 offers. He won’t make a decision anytime soon as he wants to take official visits to all five of his favorites.
