Four-star Jacksonville (Fla.) offensive lineman
Aubrey McPhadden begins a key
stretch of official visits beginning this weekend at Auburn.
"I'm kind of excited to go back out and see some more
schools," he said. "It's really close right now between the four schools I'm
looking at -- Auburn, Maryland, N.C. State and Florida State.
"Right now, I'm really high on N.C. State and Florida
State, but Auburn is up there close. If I have a good visit there, they could be
as high as the other two. Maryland's kind of the same way. I just need to see
what the environment is like at those schools and how I fit in."
McPhadden (6-6, 320, 5.15) is a member of the Rivals.com
Southeast Top 100 team and the
No. 9 offensive tackle in the nation. He'll be at Maryland on Jan. 17 and
Florida State on Jan. 24. He visited N.C. State in November.
A fifth visit is unlikely, McPhadden said. "I've pretty
much narrowed it down to those four teams."
