OL Lawson is taking visits
Roxboro (N.C.) Person Senior lineman Casey Lawson is gaining interest. The 6-foot-4, 280-pounder has numerous colleges looking and is on the verge of taking some unofficial visits.
"North Carolina has offered," he said. "I'm not commenting on the other offers, my coach wants me to keep it secret for now.

"I'm getting interest from all the schools in the ACC, SEC, Big East and some in the Pac-10. They are all pretty good. It's cool to be through the recruiting process, to see the different schools and different things about these schools."
Lawson took a couple visits not too long ago to NC State and South Carolina and plans to head out on more in the coming weeks to Duke, North Carolina and a spring game at Virginia Tech.
With college interest picking up, what is he looking for in a school?
"I guess I just want to feel comfortable with the coaches and players at the school, I'll know what feels right, but I'm going to take my time with it."
Lawson posted all-conference honors this past year as a junior.
"I think I played pretty well," he said. "From my perspective I could have done better.
"I'm working on getting my fundamentals down for my senior year and using my body more."
