OL Jones talks WVU, Maryland

Malik Jones has visited a couple of schools that aren't too far from home and he's hoping they decide to offer.
The 6-foot-5, 245-pound offensive tackle from Baltimore (Md.) Dunbar has an offer from UTEP to his credit and interest from several others.

He's going to be busy with camps and visits this summer but he has already gotten an up-close look at a couple of schools he likes.
"I've taken two unofficials to West Virginia and one to Maryland," Jones explained.
"West Virginia, oh man, I love it down there. Just the type of offense they run, it's very fast and high tempo. They like to pick up the pace and wear the defense down. They'll keep them tired.
"I visited Maryland when they played Clemson and I loved the environment. They made me feel welcome. I haven't heard from them a lot lately, though."
Jones said a coach from UTEP made the trip to Dunbar recently and he's very interested in the Miners as well. He may have to wait until the fall before he can visit the school because then it could be an official.
"I don't see myself making a decision any time soon," he said. "I don't have any kind of favorites. I'm just looking at schools and weighing my options."
