OL Greene playing the waiting game

Offensive guard Steve Greene compiled a list of three favorites about a month ago and that has not changed in the time since.
Minnesota, UConn and Central Florida still sit atop Greene's list, but those are by no means the only schools he is looking at. In fact, he has delayed his decision in the hopes of picking up more offers.

"I'm probably going to wait it out for a little while," Green said. "Originally I wanted to make my decision by the time the season started. Since I know it won't happen that way now, I'll just see what other offers I can pick up.
"I'm hoping to get offers from Pitt, Maryland and Virginia. I've already visited those schools and I know I like them. If one of them were to offer they would definitely be up there near the top of my list."
Greene went on to confirmed that he would consider a commitment if one of those three programs were to offer a scholarship.
For now, though, he's content with the schools that have offered.
"I like Minnesota because it's a school in a big-time conference," he explained. "I haven't gone out there to visit yet.
"I like UConn because it's another school in a good conference. Their facilities are beautiful and I felt comfortable around everyone. I visited in the spring but I'm not sure of the exact date.
"I'm looking at Central Florida because they were a strong team last year. Their conference isn't as strong, but they're doing good things. I mean, it's in Orlando, so the location is great."
As for official visits?
"I'm going to take officials out to Minnesota, UConn and Central Florida. Then I'm probably going to leave the other two open to see if I get any more offers."
Greene also holds offers from Marshall, Delaware and Temple.
