OL Franklin open to all

Youngstown (Ohio) Cardinal Mooney offensive tackle Eric Franklin is ranked the No. 49 overall prospect in the Buckeye State going into his senior season, and he has a chance to move up those rankings with a strong fall campaign.
The 6-foot-7, 290-pound lineman has picked up offers from Michigan State, Pitt, Kansas, Louisville, Purdue, Indiana, Akron, Toledo, Bowling Green, Ball State and Ohio over the course of the recruiting process.

He plans on giving all of those schools a close look but he hasn't started narrowing down his list just yet.
"I'm still open to everybody," Franklin explained. "My decision is gonna be based on my major, the graduation rate, the program and the schools themselves. I haven't scheduled any (official) visits yet. I'm gonna do everything after my season. I'll be taking all five, though."
Franklin plans on majoring in sports management, so he will be checking out those programs at the various schools he's looking at down the road.
"Lately I've just been working out, going through doubles and camp and stuff. It's going good. The team's ready to roll. We're ready to get going. August 28 is our first game.
"Recruiting has pretty much died down a little bit for now. I'm open if anybody wants to get up with me, though."
Franklin said he has worked hard on his pass blocking since the end of his junior year.
