OL down to three

Van Wert, Ohio offensive lineman Andrew Crummey has visits upcoming to Boston College and Maryland, but it might be hard to top the official visit he took a couple weeks ago.
The 6-foot-5, 280-pound Crummey visited Wake Forest in mid-November.

“It’s a great school academically and the way they use their offensive line is incredible,” Crummey said. “I love their scheme.
“I didn’t give them a lot of credit before I went on the visit, but I was really impressed.”
The Demon Deacons may now be in prime position to sign the three-star lineman, but right now, they’re just one of Crummey’s top three choices.
Through the summer and fall, Crummey worked from a solid top three of Ohio State, Michigan State and Purdue, but now his focus has shifted from the Midwest to the East. He’s now considering just Wake Forest, Boston College and Maryland.
“I couldn’t name a favorite after just one visit,” Crummey said.
Crummey will visit BC this weekend, and Maryland the weekend after (Dec. 13).
Crummey made an official visit to Purdue in late September, though the Boilermakers are no longer being considered.
The only school that can now get back in the race for Crummey is Ohio State, who has not yet offered a scholarship.
“They’d be the only ones who’d merit a visit,” Crummey said. “That may not be very likely, though. I’ll probably just end up using four of my visits.”
