"I did have an opportunity to visit Nebraska and it was pretty impressive. They certainly have some of the top facilities that I have seen. Their weight room was very impressive and their academic center and training table were located right in the football complex which is pretty convenient for the players."
"I also was able to spend a little time with Santino Panico who has just moved to Lincoln to begin training. Santino and I played against each other in youth football and it was great to see him."
"I was able to talk to Coach Callahan for quite awhile in his office and he is a very nice person. At the end of the day I did mention to him that I would take an official visit there later this fall."
So is Doering planning on an early decision at all, or will he plan to take several official visits? "I am planning at this point to take all 5 of my official visits later this fall. There is a possibility that this could change after I have a chance to think everything through. There is a lot to think about and I know I have a tough decision ahead."
