OL Bolden has two offers, eyes camps

Recruiting is on the rise for Winchester (Va.) Millbrook offensive lineman A.J. Bolden. The 6-foot-3, 307-pounder is up to two scholarships to date and has quite a few other colleges highly interested.
"I've received two offers, one from Buffalo and one on Wednesday from Ohio," he said. "I'm not too familiar with Ohio's program, but I've been down to Buffalo for a junior day. I'm pretty familiar with them cause I'm from Buffalo."

Bolden is thrilled with the offers, but remains open.
"It means a lot to get the offers. I'm very blessed and thankful to get the opportunity for the next level and my education is paid for," he said. "Right now, I just want to keep my decision open. I want to give everybody an equal opportunity to see me and see what they have academically and sports wise."
In addition to the offers, Bolden is receiving looks from Boston College, Duke, Wake Forest, Virginia and Virginia Tech.
"Most of the schools want me to camp," he said. "I have a pretty good feeling of where I want to camp. This year I don't want to waste time on schools that aren't interested in me. My first camp is probably going to be Wake Forest on June 6th. I think I'm going to Duke, Virginia, Maryland and Virginia Tech. There may be a couple more schools, but I haven't sat down and firmed them up yet."
Plenty of visits are likely coming, so what is Bolden looking for as he hits up these schools?
"For me, it's not about the glim and glam," he said. "That doesn't matter nor how big the stadium is or what the jerseys look like. For me, it's about how I can come into the program and how well I fit in. Can I compete and how long will it take for me to get on the field? Basically, academically I'm looking for my major, as I know we don't all go to the NFL. I need to get a job and a degree. I'm looking at sports medicine or kinesiology."
