Okun taking Pac-12 trip

Zach Okun knows all about the outstanding facilities and the trendy uniforms at Oregon. He wants to see those for sure but the four-star offensive guard wants to go more in-depth during his visit to Eugene early this week.
The Newbury Park, Calif., offensive guard who looked good at the RCS Southern California this past weekend will be visiting Oregon over the next couple days and the Ducks are one of his favorites at this point in his recruitment.

"I just want to see the overall feel I have for the program really," Okun said. "I know what to expect with Oregon - the facilities, the uniforms - but that's not all there is to a school.
"I know my relationship with them. I just want to get up there and see how I feel, how I feel I fit in and just get a feel for the campus in general."
Arizona, Arizona State, Cal and Notre Dame are some other programs that stand out to Okun, a 6-foot-3, 327-pound recruit who looked good last summer at the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge in Chicago.
More unofficial visits are definitely expected in the coming months but Oregon is the first one on the docket and the only one scheduled at this point.
"I've mostly been focusing on getting better and my footwork," Okun said. "I'm going to take it slowly. I've been working on my conditioning and it's going pretty well.
"That's all I have finalized now. I've been talking about hopefully getting out to a few other ones but that's the only one I have right now."
