Zach Okun had an enjoyable visit to USC recently along with a bunch of other elite 2015 prospects, but one thing did not come out of the trip - an offer.
The four-star offensive guard from Newbury Park, Calif., said he was a little disappointed no offer came during the visit, as many other recruits did get an offer. But he said the Trojans remain under serious consideration in his recruitment.
"It was a good trip," Okun said. "I got to know coach (Tim) Drevno a little bit. I didn't get an offer so that was a little bit disappointing, but hopefully soon it will come. They talked to me about it before but it just didn't happen."
So far, the 6-foot-3, 320-pound offensive lineman has been offered by Arizona, Arizona State, California, Kansas State, Miami, Mississippi State, Notre Dame, Oregon, Oregon State, UCLA, Washington and Washington State.
The Newbury Park standout has already taken numerous unofficial visits and Okun said he'll be back on the road starting in early March with three more trips.
Okun said these three programs are by no means his favorites, just the schools he hasn't had a chance to see yet.
"I'm going to visit Oregon and then Notre Dame sometime in late March hopefully and then I'm going to go to Arizona sometime after that," Okun said. "Those are the three that I should go to because I haven't seen them yet. I've seen all the other ones already like Cal, UCLA and USC. Those are the three I want to go out and see."
Rivals.com rates Okun as the No. 13 offensive guard in the 2015 class.
